Alternative to IBM's Domino Blog...?

I made this tweak in the 'LeftSideBar' template:

Now the photo shows on every page except the Homepage.

Asked IBM for some help on PMR 84835,370,000 but they want nothing to do with it.

They use the "we don't support custom modifications" as they're out.

So I guess, judging from the responses here that we are SOL. Unless we can find an alterative source for

a) Support
b) a Blog app that works on Domino
